Meet Our Board

Elizabeth Petrucelli, President

Elizabeth has been married for 20 years and has three living children. She has been a parishioner at Our Lady of Loreto since 2005 and is a founding member of the Catholic Women’s Conference of Colorado. Elizabeth has a diverse background from serving in the US Marine Corps to assisting women through childbirth. Currently, she runs a bereavement ministry for pregnancy and infant loss and teaches childbirth education at a local hospital. Elizabeth’s desire for the Catholic Women’s Conference of Denver is to bring Catholic women closer together through holy sisterhood by providing an annual outlet for learning and growing in their Catholic faith; especially those who have fallen away or like her, do not have a strong understanding of how to be authentically feminine.

Barbara Breslin, 1st Vice President

Barbara has been married to her wonderful husband , Jack, for 32 years. Together, they have a daughter, Claire, who lives and works in Oklahoma and they are planning her wedding for later this year!

She is a Pediatric Physical Therapist specializing in working with children from birth to age 3. Her family has been parishioners of Our Lady of Loreto for the last 14 years.  Barbara is a founding member of the Catholic Women’s Conference of Denver.  She is thrilled to be part of the Board this year. If you ask Barbara what she enjoys most about being a part of the Catholic Women’s Conference of Denver, she would say, “It is very fulfilling to share our Catholic faith with fellow sisters in Christ.”

Wendy Rhodes, 2nd Vice President

Wendy Rhodes and her husband Bobby live in Parker, Colorado and are active members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Littleton.  Wendy has served as an Americorps Volunteer for underprivileged youth in San Antonio, Texas, walked across America and parts of Canada for the pro-life cause, and is currently involved in local politics in promoting and defending the dignity of life at all stages.  She received her Bachelors degree in Religious Studies from Benedictine College and Masters degree in Counseling from Regis University. Wendy is a founding member of the Catholic Women’s Conference of Denver. Her desire is to inspire Catholic women to embrace their call to authentic femininity and to recognize their important role in the Body of Christ and the mission of the Church.  She feels honored to have the opportunity to serve on the board and meet other incredible women who share the values and mission the Catholic Women’s Conference of Denver represents.
